Unfortunately, scammers create fake websites, emails, online articles, and social media accounts that impersonate Phoenix Energy. We take your privacy seriously and want to share some steps you can take to protect yourself and your family against common scams.

Always Check the Email Address

It is always helpful to verify that an email is from Phoenix Energy. An official email from Phoenix Energy will always come from one of the following:

1. An email ending in phoenixenergy.com or phxcapitalgroup.com
2. An email ending in phoenixenergy.com but including a subdomain (invest.phoenixenergy.com or admantium.phoenixenergy.com)

If an email looks strange to you, do not click on any links or attachments. Please send the suspicious emails to fraud@phoenixenergy.com. A member of our support team will help you determine whether the email is legitimate.

Protect Yourself Against Scams

Phoenix Energy will never ask you for personal information (passwords, bank accounts, etc) through email, SMS, or social media. Here are some common tactics used by scammers:

1. Unsolicited messages on apps like Messenger, WhatsApp, and Telegram
2. Alerts that your account is compromised sent through SMS or unofficial emails
3. Fake social media profiles impersonating Phoenix Energy employees
4. Requests to create accounts on websites with similar names or URLs (i.e. ph0en1xenergy.com)

If you encounter anything suspicious, please submit details to fraud@phoenixenergy.com. A member of our support team will assist you.

Avoid Phishing Schemes

Bad actors sometimes pose as legitimate Phoenix Energy representatives and attempt to acquire sensitive information such as bank accounts or passwords. They might request that you log in to sites that look like phoenixenergy.com but have different domain names. Here are tips for spotting phishing schemes:

1. Watch for typos and bad grammar.
2. Don’t respond to requests for money or promises of gifts.
3. Don’t share passwords, bank accounts, or sensitive information.
4. Avoid clicking on urgent or suspicious links (i.e. ph0enixenerg3.com).

2. Be cautious of AI-generated videos with robotic voices and stock images
3. Ignore articles that appear on irrelevant sites (i.e. gambling or crypto blogs)
4. When in doubt, ask us for assistance.
